Dama Cannabis seeks Facilities/Maintenance Associate in Seattle
Dama Cannabis is a Tier-3 cannabis Producer/Processor in South Seattle. Our mission is to provide some of the most consistent, safe, high-quality cannabis, edibles, and extracts in Washington state. We are a small company with a strong presence, and right now we’re looking to add a Facilities/Maintenance Associate to the team.

We are looking for hard working, reliable, driven individuals, with good communication skills, who are able to work independently but also with a team to accomplish goals and is willing to work in other areas of our warehouse if necessary (Trim, Packaging, Pre-Rolls).


Under the supervision of the Cultivation and Facilities Managers, the Facilities/Maintenance Associate will assist in the upkeep, stocking, and fulfillment of the facility and garden, including, but not limited to; cleaning, sanitizing, preparing plants, and other general facilities work. The ideal candidate should have a strong work ethic and excel as a team member within a tightly controlled, state-regulated system and timelines. Schedule will be Monday-Friday (8:30am-5:00pm).


Will assist in horticultural duties such as moving plants, preparing plants for harvest, and harvesting plants
Harvests product; defoliates, hangs and organizes product by strain and batch
Cleaning and sanitizing of grow areas and equipment including but not limited to; pots, lights, fans, trays, sprayers, reservoirs, containers, and various vessels
Disposal of plant waste such as leaves, stems, flower, seeds, and hydroponic media in a compliant manner
General custodial duties such as cleaning of floors, carpets, common areas, bathrooms, disposal of waste/recycling/compostable
Transport waste to municipal waste facility in a company vehicle and disposal of waste
May be required to assist in light construction projects
Assist with installation and upkeep of various types of equipment used for both horticultural processes and cannabis processing including trim machines, packaging machines, bag sealing machines, sprayers, irrigation equipment, printers, sticker machines
When necessary, assist in Trim/Processing and Packaging departments such as bucking and trimming cannabis, weighing out products, and stickering/labeling
Completes tasks in a timely and efficient manner according to company objectives and SOPs
Other duties as assigned

Minimum 1+ year of previous I-502 cannabis experience (preferred)
Must be 21 years old per state regulations and pass a criminal background check
High school diploma, GED graduate (preferred)
Must be able to perform all basic warehouse abilities. Previous warehouse labor experience (preferred)
Basic understanding of electricity and lighting circuits (preferred)
Must have reliable transportation with a clean driving record
Able to tow a non-commercial trailer in a company vehicle
Basic familiarity with power tools and how to operate them in a safe manner
Strong sense of being safety-oriented at all times
Basic knowledge of cannabis, must be able to perform quality inspections of flower and know what to look for
Ability to prioritize shifting tasks, projects, and priorities
Must have excellent attendance and professionalism
Must be able to stay focused and motivated for extended periods of time
No cannabis consumption permitted on the job

Schedule will be Monday-Friday (8:30am-5:00pm)
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time while maintaining focus
Must be able to lift, carry and balance up to 50 pounds and must be able to do so with extreme care and caution when working with equipment, plants, and products
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to perform grasping, lifting, walking, standing, some bending/crouching, stretching, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions
Must be able to perform and maintain focus on their tasks without being distracted by others, noise, or other departments working in close proximity to them
Must be able to work in very warm environments
May require working rotating shifts with varied hours/day

Pay: $15.75 – $16.75 per hour
