Solstice was the first commercial supplier of cannabis to the medical cannabis industry in 2011 and home to the first fully permitted large-scale cannabis production and processing facility in Washington. Garden Associate

We are looking for dedicated, efficient, and enthusiastic individuals to join our team in the role of Gardening Associate.

Gardening Associate Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Lifting/ moving upwards of 700 5-7 pound plants between growing stage locations
  • Pruning, de-leafing and other basic plant care
  • Continual cleaning of the department, growing environments and growing equipment
  • Monitoring and recording plant health and grow room environment conditions
  • Harvesting and preparing plants for drying
  • Transplanting plants from propagation material to final container
  • Propagating, counting and organizing plant stock

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Minimum 21 years old
  • Professional appearance and proper personal hygiene
  • Comfortable/ability to work in warm or cold environments (~60 – ~85 degrees F)
  • Ability to work and thrive in a fast paced, startup environment and changing tasks/projects on a routine basis
  • Previous gardening labor experience required
  • Attention to detail and excellent hand eye coordination
  • Environment will consist of office, indoor grow production, warehouse, and/or distribution environment, as well as out-door elements on a frequent basis
  • Must be able to stand, walk, sit; use hands or finger to, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk and hear
  • Must have close vision, distant vision, ability to adjust focus, peripheral and color vision
  • Maintains a positive attitude towards managers and co-workers at all times

Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check conducted in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws. Under the Immigration Reform and Control Act, our company is required to verify the identity and work authorization of all newly hired employees. Therefore, if you accept this position, you will be required to complete a Form I-9 upon hire. Within 3 business days of beginning employment, you will need to supply acceptable documentation (as noted on the Form I-9) of your identity and work authorization.

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
