Smokey Point Productions (SPP) seeks Social Media Manager in Seattle

Social Media Manager is responsible for developing content for, and managing our main 4 brands – Smokey Point, Regulator, June’s Sweets & Savories, and Kallisto. This position is responsible for planning and organizing content and interacting on all social media channels including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, TikTok, and Cannabuzz to further strengthen our growing community.

RESPONSIBILITES AND DUTIES:

Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and Cannabuzz:

  • Planning and posting content.
  • Copy writing for posts.
  • Posting on story and updating throughout the day.
  • Interacting with customers and foster a sense of community by participating in: Direct Messages. Live Streams. Liking and commenting on our follower’s photos.
  • Dealing with customer complaints and PR situations.
  • Posting about upcoming events.
  • Posting about relevant current events.
  • Weekly reporting of analytics for all social media posts.
  • Implementing strategic use of hashtags for relevant platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Cannabuzz).

Twitter:

  • Posting about our daily drops.
  • Planning and posting photos with captions.
  • Interacting with customers.
  • Posting about upcoming events.
  • Strengthen our relationship with stores by engaging in and reposting their content.
  • Posting about relevant current events.
  • Weekly reporting of analytics for all social media posts.
  • Implementing strategic use of hashtags for relevant platforms.

Snapchat:

  • Actively posting timely content on story throughout the day.
  • Replying to all comments and questions in a timely and conversational yet professional manner.

Events:

  • Support Brand Ambassador.

o Attend industry events such as: Vendor Days, Budtender Ball, Lemonhaze, store visits, exc. and provide social media support and documentation while at events.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Social media marketing experience for businesses and brands.
  • Experience with content management.
  • Previous use of social media scheduling tools is a plus.
  • Understanding of strategic use of hashtags.
  • Experience reporting, analyzing and implementing changes to social media content based on available analytics.
  • 2 years of customer service experience.
  • Knowledge of photoshop and lightroom is a plus.
  • Photography and video experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Facebook, and Instagram’s policies for cannabis.

MUST BE 21 YEARS OLD

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 – $25.00 per hour
