SUMMARY: This position provides Spectacular Service to all store guests and is responsible for positive and knowledgeable interactions focused on customer service and information sharing. Assists in the on-going training of store personnel.
DUTIES: Completes retail sales transactions (credit card and point of sale) in compliance with established policies and procedures. Possesses a strong level of telephone etiquette. Assists in training store personnel on all aspects of position. Demonstrates knowledge of cannabis products and strains to include Sativa, Indica and Hybrids. Assists in the creation of work schedules to support the store’s level of business. Provides recommendations regarding appropriate usage and dosage based on method of consumption. Updates management regularly on potential issues and communicates guest recommendations. Works with management to ensure the retail store is in compliance with all applicable regulations, specifically with security and inventory procedures. Demonstrates an understanding of regulatory compliance and upholds all policies and procedures unique to the industry. Actively promotes spectacular customer service and aides in creating a welcoming atmosphere. Promotes a professional demeanor in all interactions and transactions. Responds to guest’s questions regarding flowers, strains, creams, oils, waxes, concentrates, edibles, tinctures, vape/e-pens. Stocks product and may be asked to assist with ordering in the absence of management. Actively identifies areas for cost savings.
QUALIFICATIONS: Must be 21 years of age and possess a valid State of Washington Driver’s License. Experience and/or education in the cannabis industry to include store product knowledge. 1-2 years supervisory experience, preferred. High school diploma or GED, required.
