Ionic Brands, a Tacoma Washington based licensed cannabis company and Canadian Exchange traded Intellectual property company, seeks a Senior Accountant.

JOB DUTIES:

– Assist the Controller in all phases of accounting in this multi division organization

– Timely and accurate preparation of financial statements

– Complete journal entries and conduct account reconciliations and analysis

– Interact with division personnel reviewing costs and financial results

– Analyze inventory cost accounting and assist with accuracy of inventory

– Maintain fixed asset records –support to the Audit committee

-Ensure effectiveness of and improve internal controls

– Assist with special projects whenever asked

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

– 4 years of accounting and financial reporting experience

– Proficiency in MS Office suite and Excel pivot tables. Solid experience in the preparation of financial statements

– Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

– Possess good judgment, organizational and planning skills-Strong understanding of GAAP and accrual accounting

· Preferred: – Experience with Navision, Business Central or Other ERP systems
