Responsible for meeting customer acquisition and brand growth objectives; executing key growth sales strategies, tactics and action plans within the cannabis industry.
Execute sales plans and build strategic relationships with dispensary purchasing departments, buyers and other distributors.
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
- Own and exceed monthly and annual sales targets within accounts
- Understand the competitive landscape and market trends
- Maintain sales volume, product mix and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators and competitors
- Participate in promotional activities that support brand development
- Always represent the brand appropriately
- Introduce new and innovate ways to sell that can be documented and shared with the sales team
- Meet and exceed the expectations of customers regularly
- Ability to identify and solve client issues strategically
- Work closely with finance to communicate any AP/AR issues with clients
- Work closely with shipping team to ensure timely delivery of all products in the time frame expected by the client
- Work collaboratively with the Marketing & Events teams and fosters a culture of continuous brand development and exposure
- Analyzes data, building reporting and making strategic recommendations based on data and trends
- Database management
- Establish a referral network and find ways to maximize value from those connections
Qualifications:
- 5-8 years’ sales experience
- Self-starter with previous sales experience
- Must have a hands-on, proactive customer service style
- Must have excellent communication & organizational skills

- Must be motivated, hard-working, and passionate about the cannabis industry. This position requires someone who is a strong leader with the ability to handle multiple tasks and responsibilities.

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:
- Valid Washington Driver’s License
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to stand/walk for up to 6 hours at a time
- Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds safely and properly
- Ability to work in a stressful, fast-paced environment
- Must be able to work days, nights, holidays and weekends
