The Evergreen Market – the Northwest’s premier cannabis retailer – is looking for a high energy, friendly and engaging cannabis enthusiast to serve as a Customer Ambassador.

In this role, you will be responsible for welcoming customers and creating a comfortable experience for them as they seek to purchase our fine products.

This is a great entry level job with tons of growth opportunities.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Be the first point of contact for customers, actively engaging them as they enter the store

Become familiar with the store layout and products to direct customers as appropriate

Provide customers with information related to promotional and marketing offerings

Check identification of all customers, vendors and other visitors to ensure no one under the age of 21 is admitted into the store

Successfully manage customer interactions, escalate challenging issues or concerns to manager

Promote a pleasant atmosphere for co-workers through effective communication

Maintain the overall appearance of the store entrance area and parking lot

Operate and move lightweight equipment such as wheelchairs, when necessary

Skills and Abilities

Active listening skills with the ability to effectively communicate in a positive manner

Strong service orientation; cooperative, helpful and sensitive to the needs of others

High emotional intelligence and ability to tolerate daily stressors

Strong self-control

Qualifications

Passion for cannabis

Minimum of one year of employment of any kind with a singular employer

Work environment

Cannabis focused, high energy retail
