Harmony Farms is a locally owned cannabis producer-processor manufacturing company with 50+ employees.

Must have exceptional problem solving, written and oral communication skills, be highly accurate and able to work independently, yet remain a team player.
Highly proficient using Microsoft Word, Outlook; strong and advanced knowledge of Excel and QuickBooks is mandatory!
The candidate will be expected to understand general accounting at a high level, and clearly define problematic issues and assist in finding solutions.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
—Manage day-to-day operations of accounting unit.
—Manage all account reconciliation and preparation of all general ledger entries.
—Reconcile General Ledger Balance Sheet Accounts.
—Prepare financial statements, including P&L, balance sheet, and supporting schedules.
—Coordinate annual financial statements audit; work with company’s CPA firm.
—Provide support to Company VP in preparation of budgets, maintenance of chart of accounts and development of fiscal procedures and systems.
—Reconcile bank accounts, to include general, payroll and special operating accounts; investigate any discrepancies between bank and book balances.
—Prepare and maintain general journal entries.
—Assure compliance with all Federal, State, and local agencies fiscal policies.
—Perform day to day financial transactions including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recoding data.
—Process payroll information by; directing the collection, calculation and entering of data for transmission to Benefits Mall.
—Prepare and post all account transactions necessary to perform monthly reconciliations.
—Provide analytical and statistical support for the Executive Team, to include weekly and as needed reporting.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
—Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business, Fiscal Management, or a related field.
—Must be a self-starter, highly organized, dependable, have strong problem solving skills and be able to manage multiple complex problems at once.
—Ability to translate complex financial concepts to individuals at all levels including finance and non-finance managers.
—Very strong computer skills; Microsoft Office, Word, Outlook;
Excel and QuickBooks.
—Excellent time management skills; fast, effective and efficient.
—Complete familiarity with standard accounting procedures as regards, payroll,
A/R, A/P and G/L.
—Ability to project manage; switch from project to project, in a timely manner.
—Resourceful, independent, with a high attention to detail.
—Must be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and workloads.
—Help create a “team” culture throughout the company.
—Previous successful job experience and checkable references.
—Successfully complete personality assessments.
—Complete a criminal background and credit check.

Hiring Range: ($65,000 to $80,000 annually)
