Check out a free screening of “Weed the People” on November 25th at the Grand

The Grand Cinema, a Tacoma treasure and the only non-profit theater in the South Sound, is showing a free screening of Weed the People, sponsored by the House of Cannabis.

50 FREE tickets to the screening of Weed the People Monday, November 25th

The first 50 tickets are free, sponsored by the House of Cannabis, which, according to their site:

Medical marijuana has the potential to save lives, but existing legislation prohibits millions of Americans from experiencing the life changing benefits of cannabis as a cancer treatment.

From filmmakers Ricki Lake and Abby Epstein, this look beyond politics and propaganda will challenge everything you might have known about cannabis and reveals the brave stories of ordinary families who are exploring the benefits of medical marijuana to save the lives of their most precious loved ones—their children.

Admission is FREE on a first-come, first-serve basis to the first 50 attendees.

Tickets available day-of at the box office.

This film showing has been organized by Duncan Rolfson and has been sponsored by the Tacoma House of Cannabis.
