Dank’s Wonder Emporium is a well established cannabis franchise based out of Olympia, WA is seeking an experienced CPA for a full time position with 2 to 5 years’ experience in a tax focused public accounting environment.

The right candidate must have a B.A., B.S., or Masters in accounting and must hold a CPA license, or have passed the CPA exam.

Job duties include the following:

 Accurately preparing, compiling and reviewing financial statements

 Accurately and consistently preparing Federal and State income tax returns as per the procedures of the company

 Accurately and consistently preparing, reviewing, and filing of payroll and franchise tax reports

 Meeting regulatory and company established timelines for said reports

 Effectively assisting and supporting the company’s partners in addressing all tax-related audits

 Successfully and consistently using all tax-related software, including but not limited to:

QuickBooks, Creative Solutions, Google Drive, Google Sheets

 Must be able to successfully adapt tax preparation and other job role functions based on company and/or tax law changes

The right candidate will be able to effectively communicate verbally with partners, other company members and clients, work well in a team oriented environment, must be able to adapt to a changing work schedule as per the requirements and demands of the tax season dictate, and may occasionally serve as back-up to the HR desk when needed.

Other position requirements include maintaining a CPA License, maintaining a valid Washington State

Driver’s License, maintaining private auto insurance, and must have access to a private vehicle.

Salary is dependent upon experience.
