Bellevue I-502 shop seeks Cannabis Purchaser

Responsibility for the successful execution of all product procurement for 4 retail stores. Goal is to create the MOST COMPELLING PRODUCT ASSORTMENT in the industry.

This will be achieved by bench marking competitors, developing a deep knowledge of all products and new vendors, aggressive sourcing to achieve the lowest price points to allow retail stores to have the lowest prices of its competitors.

A broad but thin assortment of products.

Reporting Relationships

Position reports directly to the Store Operations Director

Essential Duties and Responsibilities


  • Procurement
  • Develop the most compelling assortment of products in each category (wide by thin)
  • Benchmark competitors’ products and pricing each week (id comparison group for each store).
  • Continually solicit new vendors
  • Ensure all price points (low to high) available in each category
  • Aggressive sourcing and negotiations to ensure lowest prices of all competitors with large spend.
  • Leverage all stores in ecosystem of testing, with structured feedback process in selecting products and in store buy-in.
  • Meet weekly leadership to select products for each store that ensure zero outages, but avoid a run up in inventory levels.
  • Provide weekly feedback to management on product reviews and feedback from customers.
  • Develop detailed reporting on in store inventory levels (by store), ensure its accuracy and provide each Monday for management review.
  • ENSURE all vendors prominently position promotions of their products in retail stores on their website and social media.

1. Weekly store inventory report by store/category/vendor

2. Weekly sales by category (per store) % of sales by category.

3. Weekly product breadth report (number of strains, number of vendors, price points)

4. Identify benchmark stores (best in class)
