Join the Food is Free Tacoma Project in their latest installment of creating garden spaces “For the People” this Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
This time, Founder David Thompson “Tacoma’s Urban Farmer” and volunteers will convene on the Eastside of Tacoma at 302 E 40th in Tacoma to build a long parkway garden for two families to share with the neighborhood.
This is a great (big) project, almost 100 feet long by 15 feet wide, which means two special families are coming together to make a meaningful difference in their community.
It will be a spectacular vegetable and flower garden, a real jewel of the neighborhood.
Come join us as we bring Food is Free Project Tacoma to the Eastside (click this link for further details), refreshments will be provided.
Thank your for supporting the Food is Free Tacoma project. Together, we are making a huge difference in the food deserts of the city, supplying free, organic fruits and vegetables, all from donations and volunteers.
