Sōrse Technology seeks Marketing Project Manager in Seattle

Sōrse Technology is a science and intellectual property company specializing in emulsion technology.

Our clients are both operating in and entering the hemp CBD and/or cannabis space and use our proprietary SōRSE emulsion to provide better and safer hemp CBD and/or cannabis edible and beverage experiences. SōRSE emulsions are currently found in the #1 cannabis beverage in Washington.

The Role: 

SōRSE Technology is hiring for a Marketing Project Manager who specializes in planning, managing and executing projects related to marketing and advertising campaigns.

They are responsible for turning the VP of Marketing’s vision into reality. Working with the VP of Marketing, the Project Manager will identify all the tasks that need to be completed within a campaign, and then strategically delegates those tasks to the appropriate team members.

The Project Manager will submit final projects for approval to the VP Marketing prior to implementation.

Marketing Project Manager Duties and Responsibilities

While the VP of Marketing comes up with the strategic vision of a campaign, it is the Marketing Project Manager’s responsibility to map out the tasks and execute.

This may include, but is not limited to the following role:

Create and Manage Content Calendar

  • Advertising Campaigns
  • Editorial Calendar – Blog, Social Media, Newsletter, etc.
  • Event Activation Support, as needed.

Content Creation & Project Execution – Collaborate with Writers and Designers to Produce Content

Overseeing production stages of content creation, design and editorial, for all campaigns.

When necessary, Marketing Project Manager will need to source freelancers for select projects.

Create Project Budgets and Timelines

Work with VP of Marketing to establish budgets for each project and establish timelines for each project based on individual team members’ capacity.

Develop and Maintain External Vendor Relationships

Marketing Project Manager to develop and maintain vendor relationships.

Marketing Project Manager Skills:

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a small (but mighty) team, with ability to manage budgets and project timelines while overseeing multiple projects running simultaneously.

Education/Skill Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business
  • Experience in Marketing
  • Strong Management
  • Strong Communication Skills
  • High Attention to Detail.
  • Experience with Project & Time Management Platforms
  • SEO and Digital Marketing Experience a Plus!
  • Start-up Experience a Plus!
  • Must have Management Experience: The role of Marketing Project Manager is a supervisory position, responsible for managing people as well as projects.
