American Mary seeks Assistant Manager in Seattle

American Mary is a fast growing recreational marijuana retailer is seeking a full time Assistant Manager.

This position will be responsible for assisting the manager in general retail operations, as well as providing management of the staff of the store, and maintaining our inventory.

We are a regulated environment, and have to maintain compliance, so this requires a dynamic person who is detail oriented, but also keeps their eye on the bigger picture.

We are a growing startup company looking to grow with additional stores, and are looking for serious, responsible, and motivated people that will move up with the company and take on more responsibility when needed, with bigger opportunities, and pay, down the road.

REQUIREMENTS:

Must have 2 + years sales, retail and inventory budtending, or marijuana industry experience required.
-Economic/ business analysis experience, or higher level computer skills.
-Strong analytical ability to provide accurate financial and inventory reporting.
-Maintain Inventory compliance with the Liquor and Cannabis board.
-Experienced computer skills and a strong knowledge of Office/Excel programs.
– Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
– Manage all daily, weekly and monthly operational tasks.
– Keep a calm head when dealing with customer concerns.
– Work a flexible schedule, Mornings, Nights and Weekends.
– Excellent communication skills with staff and customers.
– Professional standards for attitude, behavior, and appearance required.
-Ability to speak and write English clearly and correctly.
– Ability to perform tasks that may require prolonged standing, sitting, walking, and kneeling
– Must be over 21, with no prior felony offenses
-Must have reliable transportation.

COMPENSATION:

Hourly pay DOE $15hr – $17hr, plus tips which can be substantial.

The opportunity to be salaried with bonus as the company grows and you have more responsibility down the road exists.
