What You Will Be Doing:

The Supply Chain Director will oversee all aspects of cannabis products production and supply chain, including managing and coordinating the demand / supply planning and scheduling with the company’s suppliers.

Reporting to the Chief Growth Officer of Docklight, this role provides strategic direction, leadership and accountability for all aspects of the supply chain, including manufacturing, warehousing, procurement, distribution, logistics and product quality.

KPI’s include product quality, customer service and COGS savings.

This is a key strategic and tactical leader of the Supply Chain Organization who will lead and execute within the following supply chain disciplines: inventory planning, demanding planning (forecasting) and supply planning (purchasing).

This position will be responsible for developing and sustaining the vision, business processes and strategy to support the supply chain and company performance over a multi-year horizon.

The successful candidate will be a proven Supply Chain leader who possess significant experience in establishing supply chain capabilities including business processes and infrastructure that focuses on achieving an excellent fill rate with inventory efficiency while reducing levels of expired inventory.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations or Logistics from an accredited college or university; MBA preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience within Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement and Distribution overseeing multiple remote distribution centers
  • Experience in retail/wholesale distribution dealing with high SKU/high inventory turn with consumable products is strongly preferred
  • Successful track record of leading the inventory planning/procurement/sourcing activity and ability to develop strategy and deliver sustainable results
  • Proven track record of managing procurement and inventory planning and delivering improvements in fill rate, productivity, cost savings/avoidance and driving revenue growth
    TPS, LEAN background preferred
