Agate Dreams is searching for a Security Officer in Poulsbo.
This position provides spectacular service to all store guests and is responsible for establishing a safe and friendly environment for the guests and employees.
Observes and reports all activities, incidents, or safety hazards that may occur during shift.
Responds to emergency situations as directed or according to policy.
DUTIES:
Greets all guests and monitors the retail store.
Checks guest identification to confirm it is valid.
Demonstrates a firm understanding of identification check procedures.
Guest admittance to the store is limited to only individuals 21 years of age or older.
Monitors interactions to maintain a peaceful atmosphere both inside and outside the storefront (to include parking lot).
Issues and requires badges be worn by employees, producers/processors and special visitors who need access to controlled areas.
Updates management regularly on potential issues and communicates guest recommendations.
Works with management to ensure the retail store is in compliance with all applicable regulations, specifically with security.
Promotes a professional demeanor in all interactions and transactions.
Offers assistance to guests who may require assistance for medical or physical needs.
Assists in overseeing the daily cash drops.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be 21 years of age and possess a valid State of Washington Driver’s License.
Possesses a security officer certification or license.
Must complete all required training.
High school diploma or GED, required.
