Craft Elixirs is a gluten-free, vegan and artisan growing company in need of a solid leader to manage kitchen operations.

We’re open 7 days a week and employ a talented crew with multiple managers.

Qualifications:

Excellent written, verbal and listening skills; professional and mature business experience, good project management and organizational skills, training experience, team building, ability to deal with changes effectively, strategic thinking, problem solving and decision making, ability to execute and clear accountability.

Ensure effective internal management communication.

Understand and execute procedures & policies that manage, track and organize the kitchen production processes.

Establish and follow effective communications policies.

Implement kitchen procedures and policies, monitor progress, and identify process strengths and weaknesses.

Manage, track and organize inventory needs and assist with purchasing kitchen equipment and inventory.

Overseeing kitchen activity and maintenance to comply with sanitation standards.

Enforce safety and sanitation standards in accordance with Washington State health code regulations.

Flexible and willing to adjust tasks during high volume times.

Willing to assume additional responsibility and proactive in maintaining a clean and well-run facility.

Audit product recipes.

Develop, streamline and scale product & recipe development.

Train new staff.

Staff scheduling and ongoing team leader meetings.

Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis. During busy times

Willing to work 40+ hours per week.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Professional and clean appearance.
Basic computer skills. Microsoft office programs and email.
Must be 21+ to apply.
Must be OK with repetitive tasks and job duties.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the desire to build and sustain a long-term team.
Ability to prioritize work, multi-task, meet deadlines and produce results.
Experience in the food service industry and knowledge of organic ingredients.
Valid WA Food Service License.
WA state ID or DI.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $45,000.00 to $55,000.00 /year

Experience:

  • Cooking or Baking: 3 years (Preferred)
