Position requirements:

• 21 years of age at application date and valid ID
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Weekend and/or evening availability
• Exceptional verbal communication skills; fluent in English
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 40 pounds
• Ability to use a point of sale touch-screen system
• Ability to pass a background check
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Integrity and honesty

Strong candidates will have:

• Retail and customer service experience
• Cannabis industry (i502) experience
• A magnetic personality
• A passion for cannabis

• The proven ability to spontaneously problem-solve
• Credible references
• An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree

Responsibilities include:

• Facilitating long-term customer relationships, exhibiting a professional and friendly demeanor at all times
• Acquiring extensive product knowledge and assisting customers to identify the perfect product
• Organizing and cleaning sales floor and employee-only areas
• Greeting customers and checking IDs
• Using POS system to scan products and complete sale. Cash handling; making change
• Counting and opening till
• Answering the store phone
• Stocking products
• Active up-selling
• Increasing customer engagement with the KushMart loyalty program
• Preparing online orders
• Educating customers on current and upcoming promotions
• Working as a team with coworkers
• Prioritizing LCB compliance at all times
• Signing visitors in and out
• Performing inventory counts
