Seaweed Cannabis is a new name on a long-time retail cannabis shop in Edmonds. We are growing our team and looking for a qualified Assistant Manager that can work nights. This person must be able to actively work in the business, as either a Budtender or Entry-Security, while managing the employees on shift.
In addition to that role, they assume responsibility for opening or closing the shop. They take responsibility for setting up tills, counting them down and recording cash drops into the safe. Unless the Store Manager is present, the Assistant Manager is in charge of operations while on shift. They will contribute heavily to employee compensation reviews, discipline and generally staffing
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Prior experience, either:
- Proven experience in Budtending or Security
- Experience in managing employees
- Available to work 4pm – Midnight at least 4 nights per week (preferably 5)
- Familiar with cannabis
- Self starter with excellent discipline and attention to detail
- Basic computer skills and ability to master our point of sale system
- Must pass a criminal background check
Job Parameters
- Full time (we would consider part time)
- $20.00 – 22.00 / hour DOE
