We are looking for a professional Supply Chain Manager to lead the development and execution of Dockside’s purchasing, processing, distribution and inventory management processes. We are looking for leaders not afraid of wearing many hats and managing a constantly changing workflow. Key Accountabilities: Business Leader

Manage and lead all aspects of the Dockside Supply Chain including product menu offering definition, vendor selection, demand planning, purchasing, inventory management, regulatory compliance, distribution to stores, and business reporting;

Manage and support stock levels through direct communication with key business departments to maximize full price selling, maintaining a high sell through as well as alignment with new product launches;

Communicates company performance targets and identifies strategies to ensure performance standards are met;

Develop and implement business action plans in collaboration with Management to enhance operational efficiency;

Proactively follow up on current trends, industry news, technology and analyze key competitors in the market.

Performance and Talent Management

Conduct regular coaching/counseling sessions with supply chain team to review performance and provide constructive, and timely feedback. Oversee annual review process for all supply chain employees and set annual employee goals where appropriate;

Identify and create action plans and build development plans for employees as warranted;

Attract, recruit, and retain a high performing team. Build a talent pipeline through networking, and development management;

Partner with the Retail Operations Manager and Human Resource Manager for all employee relations issues to ensure effective resolution.

Job Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience responsible for supply chain management and/or purchasing in a similar business;

Bachelor’s Degree or commensurate experience in a related field ;

Ability to analyze selling reports, identify business trends, and react quickly to the needs of the business;

Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment;

Proficiency with Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook;

Industry awareness and strong business acumen;

Strong verbal and written communication skills and excellent organizational skills;

Required demonstrated skills and abilities:

Ability to make solid business decisions, problem-solve, and multi-task in a highly dynamic work environment;

Proven ability to exercise high degree of confidentiality and objectivity

Proven ability to work cross functionally with different business units that depend on supply chain team action / input (Marketing, Operations, Facilities).

Consultative sales experience in matching products or services to the specific needs of the customer.

Ability to work in a team setting and conduct and present oneself in a highly professional manner with both customers and internal personnel;

Proven ability to work independently with little or no supervision;

Ability to receive and provide constructive feedback on work performance
